MaryLou MacFarlane of Fawg Forest recently won the Innovation in Mental Health Service award from CMHA for her work in animal-facilitated therapy and is presenting on what the 30 years of research and work she has done has taught her about this alternative therapy. There is no one in the country more knowledgeable on this topic than her and is looking to create additional awareness on this topic moving forward.
She is coming and physically meeting with the Rural FASD Caregivers and Youth on Sat. Oct 16 starting at 10:30am in Smiths Falls. She will also be broadcasting live through Zoom at that time.
