an Evening for
Caregivers of Individuals with FASD
and/or Brain-based Disabilities

September 9th marks International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Day.

The FASD Symposium working group of Citizen Advocacy Fetal Alcohol Resource Program (FARP) is excited to launch registration for the 2nd Annual Eastern Ontario FASD Symposium.  Each year, the symposium focuses on topics relevant to individuals with FASD along with their supporting families, professionals and community members.  This year’s Symposium: Mental Health through the FASD Lifespan, will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health and feature keynote speaker, Dr. Brenda M. Knight.  An early bird registration discount is available until October 23, 2018.

We will also be hosting a special event with Dr. Knight: Care for the Caregiver: An Evening for Caregivers of Individuals with FASD and/or other Brain-Based Disabilities on Friday evening November 2, 2018 at the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.  This event is offered at NO COST, however donations are welcome.
