Thank you for making time to meet with me yesterday to discuss how Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder affects my family and many other families in Ontario.
Recognizing the cost of FASD to families and the public purse will, I hope, strengthen the government’s resolve to develop adequate prevention strategies, diagnostic services and interventions to support those living with this permanent brain injury.
A first step has been taken through the work of the Select Committee on Developmental Disabilities .
